The Orbcomm screw mount is a high performance antenna designed for Orbcomm satellite use on land or sea. This antenna tuned for Orbcomm frequencies is very good for worldwide connectivity for sensory data, tracking and Internet of Things (IoT). This is a single arm antenna using the  Orbcomm satellite communications system and operating frequencies within 137MHz-150MHz. This antenna is an excellent solution for satellite communications, navigation systems and a promising solution for maritime satellite communication applications. As ORBCOMM satellite network is in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and connected to the terrestrial infrastructure, this antenna provides powerful data transmission even in regions without mobile communications infrastructure. The Orbcomm screw mount antenna is ideal for M2M and IoT communications via satellite. With an Omni-directional radiation pattern, the 2J7928B is designed to improve signal strength, signal quality, allowing uninterrupted connectivity and reliability while maintaining efficiency. The 2J7928B provides increased data rate with better signal quality and gain. This antenna is linearly polarized providing greater read range making it ultra-performant in navigation and tracking applications.

Installation / Environmental

It is ground plane dependent with its base made up from zamak specified to provide the required strength, corrosion resistance, process ability, and thermal conductivity. The installation is very easy by simply affixing the antenna to the ground plane with a cost effective screw system. All cables on 2J7928B antenna have an SMA-Male standard connector 300cm standard cable length and are fully customizable by offering additional connector types, cable lengths, and cable types. It is fully customizable and environmentally sealed with ASA UV stable, protecting the antenna from temperatures between -40C and +85C. It is a robust, reliable and durable antenna even in extreme environments. The 2J7928B is manufactured without any hazardous materials and is both REACH and RoHS compliant. The antenna is waterproof with an IP67 rating, and an additional IP69 rating for waterproof resistance against high-pressure water jets used in cleaning.
